Shame on me. I have skipped dance class the last two weeks - first week because I was sick with that nasty cold, last week because I got a lovely headache that wouldapos;ve likely only gotten worse with all the bending over and having weird positions. Also, I just didnapos;t want too.

This week, I am thinking about skipping again cause Aunt Flo has made her monthly appearance and I feel very very "uuuuugh". In hopes of, you know, *not* wasting another 10 bucks (cause it was 140 dollars for, like, 14 weeks, one class per week), I tried some Midol to see if that helped any. So far, it kind of has on the bloating, but the caffeine (at least I assume itapos;s the caffeine since I donapos;t have a lot of exposure to the stuff) has made me feel all shaky and trembly and increased my heart rate and generally made me very much not want to spend an hour dancing around and making it go even faster.

Stupid PMS. Being a girl sucks.

I am plateauing (donapos;t care if itapos;s not a word) on 55kg. Have been here for pretty much since july -
i exercise twice a day, usually an hour cardio and hour small weights,
i live pretty much on salad, veges, fish, no fat milk, fruit around 12 cups of green tea a day (of course i donapos;t have ALL those foods everyday - i changed daily)

AND�i canapos;t and havenapos;t lost an ounce of weight - i always weigh myself every morning, just after i wake up and go to the loo.

1. The townapos;s fire sirenapos;s going off right now, in perfect pedal-point to The Cemeteries of London. Iapos;d be amused if someoneapos;s house wasnapos;t on fire (or being flooded with oil, as happened to ourapos;s a couple years before we moved in; the oil tank sprung a leak or something. But that was years ago, and all traces of the incident are gone or imperceptible).

five minutes later: Sirenapos;s gone off again--this time accompanied by at least a couple cop car and ambulance sirens. Somethingapos;s going on.

2. Also, thanks to everyone whoapos;s participated in the super-secret meme so far Itapos;s open through to Monday, so please add your own set of numbers (but no sevens. Iapos;ve got enough of those). Iapos;m looking forward to getting the results to people. Super-secretly, of course.

3. My nose is cold. This is probably (but not necessarily) because itapos;s currently 59 degrees (Fahrenheit) in my room. Iapos;m wearing a deliciously warm and rather over-sized wool sweater, but that doesnapos;t do much for my nose.

The Chinese curse/blessing- "May you live in interesting times" . I�donapos;t know about you but Iapos;m certainly feeling blessed and cursed. If I�wasnapos;t being personally impacted it might be more interesting. I�have no idea how this is going to look in a year. Will someone pull a rabbit out of their butt and save the economy or will we be in a depression? We are living month to month- scrambling to pull income from various sources. Being self employed in an economy like this is also a Chinese blessing/curse. Itapos;s hard because we canapos;t count on paychecks and business is slow because those who have money are scared to spend it and others have no extra cash to buy items they donapos;t need. But on the other hand I wonapos;t fire me or lay me off because business is slow. So I�brainstorm and figure out ways to bring in small amounts that add up enough to pay the bills. It is an interesting time....
